Owner and director of Cleveland Chiropractic for the last 7 years, Rhys graduated from RMIT Melbourne before relocating to the Redlands in search of warmer weather circa 2014. His biomedical science background brings an evidenced based approach to his treatment with a strong focus on empowering patients to better care for their own bodies.
Rhys has a keen interest in biomechanics and the interdependency that exists between regions of the body. He will passionately emphasise the importance of this in relation to injury preventions and biomechanical maintenance work. Rhys has a deep level of care for his patients and prides himself on being a clear and honest communicator.
As an enthusiastic martial artist and a crossfitter Rhys is dedicated to keeping athletes in the training room. He works closely with local boxing, muay Thai and crossfit gyms to minimise athlete injury and improve sport performance.
Outside of the practice you’ll find Rhys working hard in cross fit and boxing classes or lovingly raising his beautiful dogs, Pickles, Mash and Sammy.
